I LOVE Mario Kart 8!!

The new tracks really show off the new anti-gravity feature well. It also keeps the gimmicks of underwater racing and gliding from 7. Some of the retro tracks also got anti-gravity segments which adds a nice twist on an old favorite if you like them. I would like to know why the unlockable characters appear during the races even when I don't have them. That is a minor nitpick, but there is one thing I MUST scream for joy about. THE BLUE SHELL IS RARER!! I can go a whole race without a SINGLE one appearing!! And thanks to the new item, the Super Horn, I can blow it away!

There are a few minor flaws I have with this game though. Keep in mind these are just minor nitpicks and don't really bother me too much.

1. On the Game Pad, the main option is a horn. Why? The map would be better honestly.

2. You can't save a certain set of parts as a default option. It would be nice to save a set of parts that I really like.

3. Why are there only 3 ATV bodies? However, I can let this one slide since it's a new body type they want to try out.

I haven't tried the online mode yet, but I do want to unlock more stuff. If you have a Wii U and love Mario Kart, get this game.
